Woodbridge Group Forms Strategic Alliance with Marshall & Stevens Adding 11 U.S. Affiliated Locations
Thursday, April 6, 2006

New Haven, Connecticut – April 6, 2006 - Woodbridge Group, Inc., a national middle market mergers and acquisitions, is delighted to announce its strategic partnership with valuation leader Marshall & Stevens, Inc. Established in 1932, Marshall & Stevens provides a wide range of business appraisal & valuation, ESOP and real estate support services to middle market and Fortune 1000 companies.

The agreement between Woodbridge Group and Marshall & Stevens enables both firms to expand their marketing and advisory services to a broader base of middle market business owners.

“Having Marshall & Stevens as our valuation partner allows us to offer prospective clients the experience of a 74-year old firm while increasing our ability to serve clients wherever they are located in the country,” said Woodbridge Group President Robert M. Koenig. “In addition, Woodbridge Group clients will benefit from having an M&A firm represent them in a sale who has no conflict of interest generated by performing a formal, in-depth valuation on the company.”

Headquartered in Los Angeles, California, Marshall & Stevens operates 10 offices located in every region of the country. Woodbridge Group will now be able to work with Marshall & Stevens professionals to hold meetings with prospective clients, due diligence teams, potential acquirers and sellers of client-companies in more than a dozen states.

“This partnership is very beneficial to both firms because it helps each to support the needs of their respective clients by expanding the services and capabilities that they have access to. It also allows Marshall & Stevens to work with a firm like Woodbridge who is a leader and innovator in the marketing of business services,” said Marshall & Stevens President, Mark Santarsiero.

Woodbridge Group currently provides business owners with a free value assessment that gives them an idea of their company’s range of value, but there are always some owners who wish to have a comprehensive valuation performed by an independent valuation advisor. Marshall & Stevens will have the ability to perform that independent valuation.

The two firms will also benefit from an array of business development programs. Said Koenig, “Woodbridge Group and Marshall & Stevens have agreed to share relevant opportunities to sell complementary services by holding joint presentations and seminars and by co-marketing in our respective newsletters and websites.” In addition, the two firms will develop a common source of client lead and contact information.

Woodbridge Group, Inc., a unique, marketing-driven M&A firm, was established in 1993 to provide a divestiture and acquisition advisory services to middle market companies.
